CERVIN — ALX

Created in close collaboration with Maison Davis, this artwork is an exclusive piece presented in Zermatt.

The composition is structured around a succession of finely sculpted blades of black plexiglass. Through a precise layering of these elements, the silhouette of the Matterhorn emerges in an immersive, kinetic relief. As the viewer moves and their perspective shifts, the structure gradually reveals a luminous golden background of gold leaf, where golden Swiss franc banknotes are arranged at random.

Through this dialogue between raw materials and precious reflections, the artwork conveys a powerful message: Switzerland’s true “gold” lies in its mountains and natural heritage. An invaluable treasure and symbol of Swiss identity that must be preserved beyond the pursuit of material wealth.
